Two Malaysian referees officiated the two hottest matches of the final round of V-League: Witnessing the tears of the relegated team

Two matches that will decide the relegation race in round 26 of the V-League 2024-2025 will be officiated by FIFA referees from Malaysia.

Who is the 9X referee?

Referee Razlan Joffri Bin Ali (born in 1985) will officiate the match between SHB Da Nang and SLNA at Tam Ky Stadium.

Meanwhile, referee Muhammad Izzul Fikri Kamaruzaman (born in 1995) will officiate the match between Quy Nhon Binh Dinh and Hanoi FC.

V-League is about to end and foreign referees will combine with Vietnamese referees to officiate round 26.

Both referees were on duty in round 21 of this year's season, in the match between Hanoi FC and Thep Xanh Nam Dinh at Hang Day Stadium. In that match, referee Joffri Bin Ali was the main referee, while Izzul Fikri was in charge of the VAR room.

In addition, referee Bin Ali also officiated two other matches in previous rounds, including the match between Hanoi FC and Dong A Thanh Hoa (round 17) and the match between SLNA and Quang Nam (round 19).

In which matches does VAR appear?

At LPBank V-League, the race to avoid direct relegation and having to participate in the Bia Sao Vang 2024-2025 play-off is still undecided between Quy Nhon Binh Dinh Club, SHB Da Nang Club and Quang Nam Club.

After round 25 of LPBank V-League 1, the last position on the rankings belongs to Quy Nhon Binh Dinh with 21 points, while SHB Da Nang is right above with 22 points, Quang Nam Club currently has 25 points, however, when considering the sub-indexes in direct confrontation, Quang Nam Club is ranked below SHB Da Nang Club (first leg match Quang Nam 3-2 SHB Da Nang, second leg match SHB Da Nang 1-0 Quang Nam, Quang Nam is lower than SHB Da Nang in the opponent's field goal index).

The teams will have to wait anxiously for the final minutes of the V-League. In round 26, VAR technology will be applied in 4 matches: SHB Da Nang vs SLNA, The Cong Viettel vs Ho Chi Minh City, Quy Nhon Binh Dinh vs Hanoi FC and Cong An Ha Noi vs Hai Phong. All matches will take place at the same time at 5:00 p.m. on June 22.
