According to the representative of the Hue Monuments Conservation Center, the restoration of the relic has so far basically ensured the restoration and renovation of some original construction items of the relic such as the "Thien ha de nhat hung quan" gate (facing Da Nang ), Hai Van Quan gate (facing Thua Thien Hue), the headquarters, and the Great Wall system.

The project to preserve, restore and promote the value of Hai Van Quan relic was started in 2021 to preserve and promote the value of the national historical and cultural relic, contributing to the socio -economic development of Thua Thien Hue province and Da Nang city. The project has a total investment of more than 42 billion VND from the budget of the two localities of Thua Thien Hue and Da Nang city.

Hai Van Quan is a national historical relic under the management of two localities, Thua Thien Hue province and Da Nang city. This relic was built in 1826 under the reign of King Minh Mang, located on the top of Hai Van pass, right in the middle of the administrative division line of Hue and Da Nang, this relic is located at an altitude of nearly 500m above sea level.

Hai Van Quan relic site will be open free of charge until the two localities agree on a suitable ticket price list. During this time, the parties will also collect community opinions to finalize the plan and improve service facilities to ensure the best safety for visitors.
