In the category for outstanding captains of Asian volleyball, Thanh Thuy was honored. The athlete born in 1997 has made great contributions to the success of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team in recent years, most recently defeating Thailand to win the SEA V-League (Southeast Asian women's volleyball tournament) phase 2.
Not long ago, Volleybox ranked Thanh Thuy 14th in the world with 327.85 points. It should be added that in Southeast Asia, no volleyball player has a higher ranking than Thanh Thuy, including Thailand (the team that dominates women's volleyball in Southeast Asia).
Since the beginning of the year, Thanh Thuy has participated in 10 tournaments that are scored according to Volleybox, including the AVC Nations Cup (Asia), SEA V-League (Southeast Asia) and club-level volleyball tournaments in Türkiye... In particular, the SEA V-League championship round 2 helped Thanh Thuy gain 10 more points.
If only counting the main attacker position, Thanh Thuy is ranked 4th in the world. This is a very high ranking for athletes in the Southeast Asian region.

Meanwhile, Bich Tuyen was honored as one of the best hitters of Asian volleyball along with Wu Mengjie (China), Mayu Ishikawa (Japan) and Ajcharaporn Kongyot (Thailand).
Bich Tuyen is known as a “scoring machine” in recent domestic and international tournaments. Recently, Bich Tuyen became the main hitter of the Vietnamese women’s volleyball team at the SEA V-League. In the final match alone, she scored 45 points, out of the team’s total of 107 points. She accounted for about 42% of the Vietnamese women’s team’s scoring against Thailand, in the final match on the evening of August 10.
The combination of Thanh Thuy and Bich Tuyen is the biggest hope for Vietnamese women's volleyball to succeed at the world tournament.
The Women's Volleyball World Cup takes place in Thailand from August 25 to September 7. The volleyball team will be in the same group as Poland, Germany and Kenya.
