Hamas has released a video showing its fighters fighting Israeli troops in the northern Gaza Strip, the epicentre of the current war.
Body camera video released by Hamas on November 8 shows gunmen fighting with the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) at three main locations: Al-Shati refugee camp in Gaza City, Atatra and Beit Hanoun.
Hamas said the videos were filmed on November 2, 3, 5 and 6. The length and direction of the shadows in the videos suggest the ambushes occurred on different days or hours apart.

Hamas did not specify whether it caused any Israeli military casualties or disabled equipment. It also did not say whether it suffered any casualties. The video is believed to have been edited and doctored. Hamas typically only mentions successful missions in the videos it releases.
The IDF has been targeting Hamas positions and tunnels for over a month and has laid siege to Gaza City. However, video released by Hamas shows how difficult it is for the Israeli military to confront the force.
CNN military analyst, retired Gen. Mark Hertling, said the video showed Hamas may be using anti-tank weapons, a type of weapon capable of destroying some military vehicles such as armored personnel carriers.
An IDF spokesman declined to comment on the number of military vehicles that were disabled or destroyed in the ground attack.
Eliminating the tunnels containing weapons and Hamas fighters could take months. In addition, Hamas could use buildings destroyed by Israeli strikes as ambush sites.
According to analyst Hertling, the IDF would have to destroy every tunnel complex, tunnel entrance, or tunnel shaft if it wanted to completely prevent ambushes.
“It will take months to do that,” he said, noting that the clearance operations cannot be carried out by vehicle. IDF soldiers would have to physically search each building, risking Hamas sniper and rifle fire.
Israel has expanded its military operations in the Gaza Strip since late October, besieging Gaza City since November 2 and sending units into the city from two directions. According to the IDF, more than 30 Israeli soldiers have been killed since the Israeli forces pushed deeper into Gaza.
