There are expected to be a total of eight new or refreshed low-cost devices this year, including: Macbook Air (M4); iPhone SE (fourth generation); iPad (11th generation); AirTag (second generation); Command Center; HomePod mini (second generation); Apple TV 4K (fourth generation) and Apple Watch SE (third generation).
- Macbook Air M4: expected to offer 25% faster multi-core CPU performance than the current version. The device can support two external displays and a 12MP camera with Center Stage feature. The device is expected to keep the starting price of $ 1,099.
- iPhone SE 4: is said to have a similar design to the iPhone 14 including a 6.1-inch OLED screen, Face ID, USB-C port and 48MP rear camera. The device will be equipped with the A18 chip, support Apple Intelligence and be the first product with Apple's self-designed 5G modem.
iPhone SE 4 will launch in March 2025 with an expected price of 400-500 USD.
- iPad (11th generation): upgraded to A17 Pro or A18 chip with 8GB Ram to support Apple Intelligence. The device will cost around $ 349 with the ability to increase the basic storage capacity to 128GB.
- AiraTag (2nd generation): equipped with an upgraded Ultra Wideband chip for 3x the tracking range, better Vision Pro integration, and an anti-tamper speaker for enhanced anti-tracking measures. The device is expected to launch mid-year and maintain the $29 price tag.
- Command Center: this is the all-new smart home control center, 7-inch screen, built-in speaker, FaceTime-enabled camera and proximity sensor for dynamic interface adjustment.
- HomePod mini 2: expected to be equipped with Apple-designed Wi-Fi and Bluetooth chips, supporting Wifi 6E, improved sound quality and second-generation Ultra Wideband chip for better transmission.
- Apple TV 4K 4: The device uses an A16 chip or newer, supports Wiffi 6E and can integrate a FaceTime camera. To compete with rivals, the device can start at $99.
- Apple Watch SE 3: has a larger screen than the previous model, uses the S10 or S11 chip and may use a plastic case to reduce costs. The device will start at $249 and is expected to launch in late 2025.
