Thousands of people attend the Hung Kings' death anniversary on Phoenix Mountain, Da Lat

In Da Lat city, Lam Dong province, the Hung Kings' Commemoration Ceremony was solemnly and jubilantly held on the top of Phoenix Mountain, attracting thousands of locals and tourists to participate.

On the morning of April 7 (March 10 of the lunar calendar) at Au Lac Temple - Prenn Waterfall Tourist Area, Da Lat City, Lam Dong Province, the Hung King's Death Anniversary Incense Offering Ceremony with sacred, respectful and meaningful rituals took place solemnly.

The ceremony took place solemnly according to traditional rituals. Many officials, local people and tourists respectfully offered incense and gifts to express their respect, remembrance and gratitude to the National Ancestor.

Acting Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thai Hoc read a memorial speech for the Hung Kings.

At the ceremony, Lam Dong Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Thai Hoc read a congratulatory speech in memory of the Hung Kings. The content of the congratulatory speech expressed respect and gratitude to the Hung Kings and their ancestors who had contributed to building and defending the country.

“In front of the Hung King Temple, the Provincial Party Committee, the People's Council, the People's Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the people of all ethnic groups in Lam Dong province vow to strive to inherit and promote the spirit of patriotism and the glorious revolutionary tradition of previous generations, continue to unite and be determined to build Lam Dong homeland to become increasingly prosperous, beautiful, civilized, worthy of the efforts of our predecessors in building, preserving and nurturing it”, emphasized Acting Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thai Hoc.

Au Lac Temple is located in Prenn Waterfall Tourist Area, so it attracts many tourists and locals to offer incense to commemorate the National Ancestor, visit the scenic spots and attend the festival at the foot of the waterfall.

Right after the ceremony, the festival took place at the foot of Prenn waterfall with many cultural activities, arts, and folk games imbued with traditional cultural identity: Blindfolded duck catching contest, Chinese chess, bamboo dance, food market with traditional dishes... attracting thousands of people and tourists to participate in the activities.
