From early morning, long lines of people dressed neatly, holding documents in hand, were waiting to enter the fair. The crowd filled the hall to the exit, even stretching all the way to the subway station, causing congestion.
A woman at the fair muttered, "When I graduated with my bachelor's degree, they thought I had no experience, and after I got my master's degree, they thought I was too old ."
Due to the large number of applicants, not everyone was interviewed. Many companies quickly posted "full applications received" notices, leaving many people with regrets.
Photos and videos recording this scene after being spread on social networks received a lot of discussion.

Many people say this is a fierce competition when there are many people in need of labor but limited jobs. The reason is that the number of graduates is increasing, while new jobs are not enough to meet the demand.
One comment expressed concern about the current unemployment situation in China: “Masters and PhD candidates are lining up like they are trying to get tickets during the Lunar New Year travel rush.”
This severe imbalance between supply and demand is a stark reminder of the harshness of the job market.
“If even highly educated people face such fierce competition, how much fiercer must the competition be for those over 35? ” one commenter shared.
