The second Vietnamese Goods Week in 2024 opened at the Carrefour supermarket in the city of Collegien in the eastern suburbs of Paris. This is a big step forward in promoting and expanding the presence of Vietnamese products and culture in the French market, carried out through the cooperation between the Vietnam Trade Office in France, the Carrefour supermarket system and the distributor T&T Foods.

The event was attended by nearly 10 Vietnamese enterprises specializing in supplying goods to the Carrefour distribution system, with their most typical and quality products. Fresh agricultural products such as dragon fruit, mango, grapefruit to processed foods such as fish sauce, pho, cashew nuts were displayed attractively and introduced in detail so that French consumers could better understand the quality and difference of Vietnamese goods.

This is the first time visitors have the opportunity to experience a miniature Vietnamese space right in the heart of France, with a decorative design imbued with Vietnamese identity. A photo exhibition of famous Vietnamese landscapes such as Ha Long Bay, Hoi An Ancient Town and Sa Pa terraced fields is held within the framework of the event. This display space helps visitors have the opportunity to admire and feel the beauty of famous tourist destinations, explore the unique features of Vietnamese culture and nature.

Carrefour France - one of the largest and most prestigious supermarket chains in France, is an important partner in bringing Vietnamese products to consumers.

With a large distribution network and a rich customer base, Carrefour is an ideal distribution channel for Vietnamese goods to access and build a stable market share in France.

T&T Foods, a leading importer and distributor of Asian products in France, plays a role in linking and implementing. T&T Foods not only works closely with the Vietnam Trade Office in France to source and select quality products from Vietnam, but also contributes to the development of a business and marketing strategy to increase the attractiveness of Vietnamese products on Carrefour’s shelves.

This tripartite cooperation framework aims at a common goal of building and developing Vietnamese goods brands sustainably in the French market.

Mr. Regis Fraudin, representative of Carrefour France, said that introducing world products to French consumers is one of the important goals of the group and the Vietnamese Goods Week at the Carrefour supermarket chain contributes to bringing French consumers closer to Vietnamese cuisine and goods.
