According to Koreaboo, on July 17, a post titled “RIIZE’s Anton is dating NewJeans’ Hanni” went viral. The post garnered over 175,000 views in a popular online community in Korea.

In the post, the author accused the two idols of dating. However, the author did not provide any concrete evidence, such as photos of them wearing similar outfits or candid photos - which are common evidence in this type of dating rumor.

Instead, the author just makes the lazy statement that the two idols have "too many similarities."

The post has caused a backlash. Most Korean netizens criticized the author for spreading false rumors and invading the artist's privacy.

Many people suspect that this is another “trick” of DC Inside - a forum specializing in spreading rumors about celebrities. This is also the forum that has targeted CEO Min Hee Jin and NewJeans since their disagreement with HYBE.

Hanni (NewJeans) and Anton (RIIZE)'s management company did not respond to this rumor.
