There are many murders happening continuously for very simple reasons such as traffic accidents, arguments due to conflicts while drinking... These very unfortunate murders would not happen if everyone knew how to control their anger, sometimes just saying sorry.
On May 23, Binh Dinh General Hospital announced that victim Le Minh Hoang (born in 1969, residing in Ward 1, Tuy Hoa City) - who was beaten after a traffic collision on the evening of May 21 in Phu Yen - had died.
Previously, at around 10:30 p.m. on May 21, Mr. Hoang was driving car 78A-091.98 on Le Duan Street, Ward 7, Tuy Hoa City when he collided with motorbike 78G1-622.04 driven by Le Chi Dat (born in 1995, residing in Son Hoa District).
The accident was not serious, but when he fell on the road, Dat sat in front of the car and cursed Mr. Hoang.
At this time, Mr. Hoang opened the trunk of the car, took out a baseball bat (70.5cm long metal) and hit Dat's leg.
Being beaten, Dat grabbed the baseball bat and hit Mr. Hoang in the head, causing the victim to fall unconscious on the street... Mr. Hoang later died from a severe brain injury...
Also on May 23, the Investigation Police Department of Dak Lak Provincial Police detained Nguyen Duy Hai (born in 1998, residing in Ko H Neh hamlet, Cuor Dang commune) to investigate the murder that occurred in Cuor Dang commune, Cu M'gar district.
Due to a conflict and an argument while drinking together, Nguyen Duy Hai used a knife to stab to death LTTH (born 2003), living in the same Ko H Neh hamlet, Cuor Dang commune...
These unnecessary deaths happen so often, every day, everywhere, that people gradually stop paying attention. On the one hand, the victims of these murders are not "easy" in those conflicts. But this is a very alarming social reality.
Even though "murder must be punished", when a murder occurs, the perpetrator must receive a heavy sentence. But the victim cannot be brought back to life, many social consequences will fall on the families and relatives of both sides.
Life with countless relationships, always has unexpected incidents, displeasing each other, ready to explode anger... But if one of the two sides restrains and is patient, there will be less conflicts, every day society will have less "dark", negative incidents.
Therefore, in addition to criminally prosecuting these murderers, it is necessary to regularly remind andeducate people from a young age, from family, to school and even to adults... Teach children, remind adults to know how to apologize when an unfortunate incident occurs - even if sometimes they are not wrong.
Although the two words "sorry" are difficult for anyone to say, always saying sorry will help you practice humility and patience. More than that, a sincere apology will help resolve anger, make peace, and limit conflicts...
In the two incidents mentioned above, sometimes just an apology could have prevented violence, and could have changed lives.
