The 11th Provincial People's Council held its 48th session.

Organizing meetings of the Provincial People's Council Standing Committee according to regulations. Receiving citizens, urging the settlement of complaints and denunciations. Consulting and giving opinions on contents assigned by the Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Committee.

In November, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council directed the preparation for the organization of the Provincial People's Council meetings, especially the regular meeting at the end of 2024; supervised the implementation of socio-economic development targets and tasks in 2024. Continued to organize thematic supervision on the proposal of the list of land acquisition and the results of the implementation of the Provincial People's Council resolution on approving the list of projects requiring land acquisition and approving the list of projects converting the purpose of rice-growing land for the period from 2021 to 2023. Organized explanations at the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council meeting. Coordinated to organize training on operational skills for People's Council delegates at all levels. Organized for Provincial People's Council delegates to meet voters before the regular meeting at the end of 2024. Organized citizen reception, handled and urged the settlement of voters' petitions, complaints, denunciations and reflections of citizens according to the law.

At the meeting, the Economic - Budget Committee and the Cultural - Social Committee of the Provincial People's Council reported the results of examining 13 draft resolutions submitted to the 21st session of the 11th Provincial People's Council - Special session, scheduled to be held in November, including the following contents: Supplementing and adjusting the Medium-term Public Investment Plan for the period 2021-2025 from local budget capital; adjusting career funding to implement national target programs; allocating regular budget expenditures to localities; adjusting the investment policy for the North-South Expressway connecting project with National Highway 1 and Ca Na General Seaport...

Concluding the meeting, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council requested the Standing Committee, the Committees and each delegate of the Provincial People's Council to continue to promote the sense of responsibility, strengthen coordination to complete the tasks and plans set out in November. The Provincial People's Committee, functional departments and branches continue to research, review, supplement and perfect the contents of the draft resolutions submitted at the 21st Session; the Provincial People's Council Committees monitor, urge and coordinate with functional departments and branches to perform well the verification work so that the draft resolutions at the session ensure high quality and feasibility, serving as a basis for reporting to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee for direction to organize effectively, in accordance with legal regulations. In addition, it is necessary to pay attention to the work of contacting voters before the regular meeting at the end of the year; functional departments and branches review the results of handling and responding to voters' recommendations.
