Initial information said that the above traffic accident occurred at around 12:00 on May 9, on National Highway 1A, passing through Quynh Van commune, Quynh Luu district, Nghe An province.
According to witnesses at the scene, at the time, a Mazda 3 car with Nghe An license plate was traveling on National Highway 1A in the North-South direction. When it reached the intersection in Quynh Van commune, Quynh Luu district, Nghe An province, it encountered a red light and stopped. At that moment, a truck traveling in the same direction from behind rushed up and hit the Mazda 3. The truck continued to run over the rear of the car.
The collision caused severe damage to the Mazda 3, the rear half of the car was crushed and completely deformed.
At the time of the accident, there were a couple in the Mazda 3 from Yen Thanh district, Nghe An province. The husband was in the driver’s seat, while his wife was in the passenger seat, so she was not injured.
The cause of the accident is currently being investigated by the authorities.
