Attending the program were representatives of the Lao Cai Provincial Business Association, leaders of the Business Associations of Tran Yen, Yen Binh, Yen Bai ; leaders of the communes of Xuan Ai, Mau A, Dong Cuong, Lam Giang, Chau Que, Phong Du Thuong, Phong Du Ha, Mo Vang, Tan Hop along with many business members and guests.

In his opening speech, Mr. Tran Van Kien - Chairman of the Van Yen Business Association, emphasized: “The success of the 1st Lao Cai Provincial Party Congress has opened a new development path, arousing the desire for dedication and creativity among the business community. The business community in the Van Yen area will continue to unite, innovate, and actively contribute to the local socio -economic development.”
At the meeting, delegates reviewed President Ho Chi Minh 's teachings to the business community, affirming the important role of entrepreneurs in local socio-economic development.


Currently, Mau A commune has 69 enterprises and cooperatives, which have contributed 68.9 billion VND to the State budget since the beginning of the year. Enterprises in the area not only create jobs for thousands of workers, but also develop diverse industries, forming key products, such as: forest product processing, cinnamon essential oil, cinnamon tea, cinnamon incense; high-tech agriculture with models of mulberry planting, silkworm raising, silk production; greenhouse system for growing safe vegetables, tubers, and fruits to supply GO! supermarket; small hydropower plants, organic livestock, clean energy and Na Hau eco-tourism.
Not only focusing on economic development, Mau A enterprises also actively participate in social security activities, such as: building houses, building bridges, giving gifts to poor students, supporting disadvantaged households, organizing sports and business arts programs. The Commune Business Association also maintains an annual 7-a-side football tournament, creating a healthy playground, connecting and enhancing solidarity in the business community.


The program also held a ceremony to admit 6 new members to the association; and to reward 4 outstanding groups and individuals in humanitarian charity activities and care for children and teenagers.
