From around 10:00 a.m. on July 22, 2025, storm No. 3 (Wipha) officially made landfall in Thanh Hoa province, bringing strong gusts of wind and heavy rain over a wide area, causing localized flooding in many areas, seriously affecting people's lives as well as the power grid infrastructure system in the province.

Electrical equipment was submerged in water and power lines were broken, making it difficult to access and restore power. With a high sense of responsibility, the "orange soldiers" persistently and diligently approached each damaged location to fix the problem.

Mr. Hoang Hai, Director of Thanh Hoa Electricity Company, was directly present at the scene to inspect and direct the troubleshooting. He requested all officers, workers and laborers to take safety as a production command; units need to proactively arrange human resources, spare materials and equipment, organize 24/24h on-call duty and strictly control areas with potential risks.

On July 22, the Director of Thanh Hoa Electricity Company and leaders of Thanh Hoa Water Supply Joint Stock Company directly went to the scene to deploy urgent solutions to soon restore water supply to the people.

The company focused on reviewing the entire grid, isolating the problem, quickly repairing affected medium and low voltage lines, and prioritizing power supply to drainage pumping stations to support flood control work and stabilize people's lives.

Regardless of day or night, Thanh Hoa Electricity Company's staff and workers are ready to be present in many areas to be on duty. Wherever there is an electrical problem, there will immediately be the appearance of electricity workers.

Electricity workers braved the rain, swung on electric poles, stuck close to each power line, and carefully inspected each transformer station... to fix the problem.

These were customers in areas that were still deeply flooded.
