On the afternoon of June 18, the funeral of model Thai Thien Phuong (Abby Choi) was held privately at Po Fook Memorial Hall, Hong Kong (China).
According to records, security forces were deployed heavily to control the flow of people entering and leaving the funeral area.

The interior and exterior of the shrine are decorated in bright colors such as white and pink. These are also the model’s favorite colors. Her family also chose her favorite photos when she was alive because they didn’t want the atmosphere to be too heavy.
Sina revealed that the funeral expenses for the unfortunate model are estimated to be more than 3 million Hong Kong dollars, most of which is spent on restoring the body of the unfortunate female model.
The family used high technology such as 3D printing to recreate the face and skull of the ill-fated model.

According to HK01, recently Ms. Truong Yen Hoa and her husband have completed procedures to receive guardianship and raise Thai Thien Phuong's two children with her ex-husband.

According to On, besides the family, 1,000 people registered to pay their respects to the late model and were accepted by Thai Thien Phuong's family. Many celebrities in Hong Kong also sent wreaths to express their condolences to Thai Thien Phuong's family.
The funeral was held for only one day, after which Thai Thien Phuong's body was taken to Po Lin Monastery on Lantau Island for cremation on June 19.
Thai Thien Phuong went missing on February 21 and was found dead on February 24 at the apartment rented by Kwong Kau in January.
To destroy the DNA and hinder the investigation into the victim's identity, the suspect dismembered and disposed of the body immediately after committing the crime.
Authorities are currently holding four people in connection with the case. After the trial on May 8, Anthony Kwong (31 years old, driver, brother of the victim's ex-husband), Alex Kwong (28 years old, unemployed and ex-husband of the victim), Kwong Kau (65 years old, retired police officer, ex-father of the victim) were charged with murder.
Jenny Li Sui-heung (63 years old, female, retired, former mother-in-law of the victim) was charged with obstruction of justice. She deleted text messages and audio files of conversations to conceal the crimes of her husband and children.
Two others, Lin (41 years old) and Pun (29 years old), accused of helping Alex Kwong escape, were released on bail.
