Earlier, last night (November 17), information appeared that the YouTube channel Kidsside Curve in Thailand interviewed Coach Park Hang Seo. This channel raised the question of whether the Korean coach was ready to replace Coach Mano Polking as the head coach of the Thai national team.
This interview was given in the context of a wave of strong criticism of coach Mano Polking, putting pressure on him to resign as head coach of the Golden Temple team.
After Thailand lost 1-2 to China on November 16 in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, coach Mano Polking's reputation with the Thai football world and fans is very low.
Coach Mano Polking's contract with the Thai national team will end in February 2024. Currently, Mr. Polking and the Football Association of Thailand (FAT) have not negotiated to extend this contract.
Previously, the Thai football public wanted coach Kiatisuk Senamuang to return to lead their national team.
