The Economics Faculty Council has 104 candidates, including 4 Professor candidates and 100 Associate Professor candidates. Dr. Le Hai Trung, Deputy Head of the Banking Faculty of the Banking Academy, is one of the Associate Professor candidates of the Economics Faculty in 2024.

According to the application for recognition of meeting the standards for the title of Associate Professor in 2024, candidate Le Hai Trung said his hometown is Hai Trung commune, Hai Hau district, Nam Dinh province.

Candidate Le Hai Trung graduated from university in 2011, major: Finance - Banking, major in Banking at Banking Academy.

Then, in 2013, the candidate was awarded a master's degree in Economics, majoring in Banking and Finance from the University of Leicester, UK.

In 2019, candidate Le Hai Trung received a PhD in Business and Management from the University of East Anglia, UK.

Candidate Le Hai Trung's work history is as follows:

From January 2013 to May 2020, he was a lecturer at the Banking Faculty, Banking Academy.

From June 2020 to December 2020, he was Deputy Head of Banking Business Department, Banking Faculty, Banking Academy.

From January 2021 to April 2022, Dr. Le Hai Trung held the position of Head of Banking Business Department, Banking Faculty, Banking Academy.

From April 2022 to present, he is Deputy Head of the Faculty of Banking, Banking Academy. At the same time, Dr. Le Hai Trung is also Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Banking Academy.

Dr. Le Hai Trung's main research directions are research on financial stability and operations of commercial banks; Research on financial econometrics and risk management.

Dr. Le Hai Trung has guided 5 graduate students to successfully defend their master's theses; led 2 ministerial-level scientific research projects that were accepted with Excellent grade; led 1 grassroots-level scientific research project that was accepted with Excellent grade.

Dr. Le Hai Trung has published 40 scientific articles and reports, including 8 scientific articles in prestigious international journals listed in ISI/Scopus; specifically, he is the main author of 8/8 articles, the sole author of 5/8 articles and 7/8 articles have IF coefficient > 2, including 2 articles with IF coefficient > 10.
