With the spirit of "Where there are people, there is the Union", the Union branches in the city go to every alley, knock on every door to guide people to install VNeID electronic identification accounts.

Recently, the Hoa Khanh Nam Ward Youth Union (Lien Chieu District) coordinated with the ward police to visit each house to propagate the benefits of installing the VNeID application and provide instructions on activating electronic identification accounts. Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoai An, Secretary of the Ward Youth Union, said that to register for an electronic identification account, people need to have a smartphone to download the VNeID application on Android and iOS platforms. However, some people still do not understand the benefits of installing VNeID, so the number of registrations to activate electronic identification accounts is very low.
Not to mention, there are many elderly people in the area, whose ability to access information is limited. Therefore, the ward Youth Union has organized for members and youths to go to people's homes to guide them in setting up electronic identification accounts.
According to Lieutenant Colonel Phan Van Trai, Chief of Hoa Khanh Nam Ward Police, when using electronic identification accounts, people can reflect on security and order, denounce and report crimes and perform administrative procedures and online public services quickly and conveniently. Currently, the ward police have installed 8,200 electronic identification accounts. In the coming time, the ward police will coordinate with union members and youth to propagate and deploy many measures to guide people to register, activate and use electronic identification accounts for each household.
Similarly, to promote the pioneering youth in digital transformation, the Hoa Quy Ward Youth Union (Ngu Hanh Son District) regularly guides and answers people's questions about activating identification accounts on the VNeID application. The entire Hoa Quy Ward currently has 6,000 households, striving to have at least 1 citizen in each household install an electronic identification account by the end of June. Mr. Pham Dinh Phong, Secretary of the Thi An Residential Area Youth Union, shared: "To install an electronic identification account, people must have a citizen identification card, but many elderly people have not yet made a citizen identification card. In addition, the difficulty is that many people do not understand the benefits of an electronic identification account. Therefore, union members must explain that an electronic identification account can perform financial transactions such as: paying electricity and water bills, paying social insurance, health insurance, transferring money and information is kept absolutely confidential...".
It is known that Hoa Quy Ward Youth Union established 20 volunteer youth groups with 10-15 members each, carrying out the task of guiding people living in 20 residential areas in the area. Most of the people work during the day, so the Youth Union members organize guidance in the evenings.
Meanwhile, the Youth Union chapters at all levels in Hoa Vang district have stepped up the implementation of the Project on developing population data applications, electronic identification and authentication to serve the national digital transformation in the period of 2022-2025. In Hoa Khuong commune, 10 affiliated Youth Union branches are divided into many small groups to go to people's homes and densely populated areas such as markets, schools, and reception departments... to propagate and guide how to register for electronic identification accounts via the VNeID application. Ms. Ngo Thi Nguyen, Secretary of the Hoa Khuong Commune Youth Union, said that people who install electronic identification accounts will have all documents such as driver's licenses, vehicle registrations, insurance cards, tax codes... integrated. Currently, people in the commune have installed electronic identification account codes at level 1. At level 2, which is the highest level of personal identification accounts, people must register directly at the ward police station.
Secretary of Hoa Vang District Youth Union Nguyen Giang Thuy commented that the recent increase in support for people to set up electronic identification accounts by the district's Youth Union chapters has contributed to the effective implementation of digital transformation in the area. In the coming time, the District Youth Union will continue to deploy many solutions to mobilize people, establish propaganda teams, distribute leaflets to guide people to register, activate electronic identification accounts and use VNeID.
