On May 22, the Department of Industry and Trade in coordination with the Department of Asia - Africa Market ( Ministry of Industry and Trade ), Vietnam Halal Certification Office organized a workshop on "Halal market prospects and solutions to exploit and access the Halal market" to support units, organizations and businesses to grasp information about the markets of Muslim countries; requirements for Halal certification for the food, restaurant and hotel industries. Thereby, helping businesses to access and expand exports to the Halal market, attract Muslim customers to the city in the coming time; contributing to the effective implementation of the project "Strengthening international cooperation to build and develop Vietnam's Halal industry by 2030".
According to the city's Department of Industry and Trade, export activities are also a strength of Da Nang with key export products, typical and typical products, OCOP (One Commune One Product Program)... Da Nang is assessed to have potential in exporting to Muslim markets and can attract tourists from Muslim markets to Da Nang. In order to exploit, access and develop the Halal market, building infrastructure, supply chains, ensuring compliance with Halal regulations and standards is an issue for businesses in exporting as well as providing tourism services.
