Support for people in My Thoi ward affected by storms

On July 21, Secretary of the My Thoi Ward Party Committee Tran Minh Duc and Vice Chairman of the My Thoi Ward People's Committee Pham Thanh Nhon visited and presented support money to the families of Mr. Le Thanh Hien (residing in Group 20) and Mr. Bui Quoc Huy (residing in Group 23, Trung An Hamlet, My Thoi Ward) whose houses had their roofs blown off due to the heavy rain and storms that occurred on the evening of July 20.

Giving money to support households

Comrade Tran Minh Duc encouraged, shared the difficulties and gave support money to Mr. Le Thanh Hien's family of 5 million VND from the Duc Thanh Garment Company to help repair the house whose roof was completely blown off. At the same time, he donated 2 million VND from the Fund for the Poor of the ward to support Mr. Bui Quoc Huy's family whose roof was partially damaged.

Thereby, it is recommended that relevant departments, offices and hamlets continue to mobilize forces to participate in supporting the overcoming of consequences caused by natural disasters, helping people stabilize their lives soon.

Previously, at around 8:00 p.m. on July 20, due to the impact of storm No. 3, heavy rain and thunderstorms affected a number of houses in My Thoi ward, causing a power outage in the entire area, and many trees were knocked down. The ward and hamlet military forces promptly supported households in covering and moving their belongings to a safe place.
