In addition, 1,797.99 hectares of tobacco were planted, with a yield of 28.16 quintals/ha, and an output of more than 4,997.22 tons; 59.5 hectares of potatoes, with a yield of 161.63 quintals/ha, and an output of more than 961.68 tons; 1 hectare of soybeans, with an estimated yield of 9.2 quintals/ha, and an estimated output of 9.2 tons; 8.40 hectares of peanuts, with an estimated yield of 14.70 quintals/ha, and an estimated output of 12.3 tons; 8 hectares of black jelly, with an estimated yield of 40.6 quintals/ha, and an estimated output of 32.5 tons.

According to the assessment, in the first 6 months of the year, the disease situation on crops has been complicated; the main pests include brown planthoppers, white-backed planthoppers, golden apple snails, yellow leaf disease, brown leaf blight, armyworms, cutworms, caterpillars, grasshoppers, etc. appearing on corn, rice and some vegetables.

The district continues to monitor plant pests; at the same time, direct communes to focus on harvesting the winter-spring crop, preparing for the summer-autumn crop production to ensure progress and plan.
