Hoa Dien strives to develop quite well by 2030.

On the morning of August 19, the Hoa Dien Commune Party Committee (An Giang Province) held its first Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term. Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang Province Le Thanh Viet attended and directed the congress.

In the 2025-2030 term, the Party Committee of Hoa Dien commune sets a goal that by 2030, Hoa Dien will be a fairly developed commune in the province; develop agricultural production and aquaculture quickly and sustainably; have a synchronously developed socio -economic infrastructure system, adapting to climate change; focus on building advanced new rural areas; digital transformation in the education and health systems is among the fairly good ones in the province; traditional cultural values are preserved and promoted; national defense and security are maintained; social order and safety are stable; social security is ensured, and the material and spiritual life of the people is improved.

Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang province Le Thanh Viet gave a speech directing the congress.

Speaking at the congress, comrade Le Thanh Viet requested the Hoa Dien Commune Party Committee to continue reviewing, evaluating, arranging and perfecting personnel to meet the requirements and tasks in the new situation. At the same time, thoroughly grasp, propagate and disseminate the congress resolution among cadres, party members and people to ensure that the resolution is soon put into practice, creating clear changes right from the first year of the term.

Comrade Le Thanh Viet noted that in socio-economic development, the commune needs to focus on effectively implementing priority policies, attracting investment; developing large-scale agriculture and aquaculture, high-value products; perfecting planning, infrastructure, regional connectivity; shifting the economic structure to green, circular, high-tech; promoting cooperatives, private economy; applying science and technology, improving competitiveness; managing resources, protecting the environment, and responding to climate change.

In addition, the commune needs to pay attention to training quality human resources; improving education and health; ensuring social security, sustainable poverty reduction, job creation, and fully implementing policies for disadvantaged groups.

The Executive Committee of the Hoa Dien Commune Party Committee introduced itself to the congress.

The Congress announced the decision of the Standing Committee of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee to appoint 26 comrades to join the Executive Committee of the Hoa Dien Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term; 9 comrades to join the Standing Committee of the Commune Party Committee. Comrade Le Thanh Huong was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Hoa Dien Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
