Miss Tourism Vietnam 2008 Ngoc Diem just celebrated her birthday with friends and family.
Welcoming her new age, the beauty queen said she wishes for health and peace for herself and her loved ones.

Ngoc Diem said that a year ago, she started thinking about the word Yolo (abbreviation of the phrase " You only live once ").
The beauty queen works hard with the desire to create positive values that spread to the community. Every day, she spends a lot of time accumulating experience and knowledge.
At work, Ngoc Diem is energetic and enthusiastic, but in personal life, she is quite private. After giving birth in 2010, the beauty queen became a single mother, not wanting to get married after a breakup.
Sharing with VietNamNet , Ngoc Diem said she used to be afraid of marriage. This made her ponder and think about the line between bravely moving forward to find new happiness or remaining reserved.

“I got out of a broken relationship when I was in my 20s, and I was worried about what would happen if I fell in love and married someone and it wasn’t happy. But now, I’m mature enough to give myself a chance to live with my true feelings,” Ngoc Diem said.
Regarding the ideal partner, Ngoc Diem highly values an intelligent, kind, tolerant man who thinks big about the community, instead of just limiting himself to the individual and family.
Ngoc Diem affirms that she does not position herself too highly and believes that at the right time, a man with the same frequency will appear and accompany her on the next journey.
For many years, Nam Phuong's daughter has been Ngoc Diem's biggest support. The beauty queen's daughter is currently 15 years old, 1.72m tall, and possesses a beauty that is not inferior to her mother.

Since childhood, Nam Phuong has been independent, emotional and caring. Girls often decide what they want, while Ngoc Diem stands behind to support and advise when necessary.
“My child is in his teens and has changes in temperament. I try to observe and talk to him more. For example, when it comes to love, I want to know who he likes, and often proactively share: 'Mom has a crush on this guy' , to create openness with him,” Ngoc Diem said.

On the occasion of her new age, Miss Ngoc Diem organized the Carpe Diem exhibition, gathering 43 works by 8 artists: Le Hai Trieu, Junghyun Kim, Nguyen Phuong Hoa, Do Anh Hoa, Nguyen Hoang Phuong Vy, Nguyen Hong Quan, Pham Bach Phung, Vincent Monluc.
Each artist possesses his or her own visual language and unique expressive power. All converge in a common emotional vein: a profound presence in every moment of life.

Miss Ngoc Diem hopes that the exhibition will help viewers preserve priceless moments where the colors of life are painted and felt by souls who always believe in life.
"Because each work is a slice of life that is both private and powerful enough to move like-minded souls," she said.
The exhibition runs until August 10 at Ngoc Nam Phuong Art Gallery, Cau Kieu Ward, HCMC.
