Bank interest rates today 11/11/2025: Two banks join the race to increase interest rates

According to the online interest rate table for individual customers recently updated by Loc Phat Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank ( LPBank ), the interest rate for 1-5 month terms increased by 0.3%/year; 6-11 month terms increased by 0.2%/year; 18-60 month terms increased by 0.1%/year and 12-16 month terms remained unchanged.

With the above adjustment, the current online savings interest rate with interest paid at the end of the term is listed by LPBank as follows: 1-month term is 3.9%/year, 2-month term is 4%/year, 3-5-month term is 3.2%/year, 6-11-month term is 5.3%/year, 12-16-month term is 5.4%/year and the highest rate is 5.5%/year for terms from 18-60 months.

LPBank is listing the highest interest rate at post office savings points at 5.3%/year. However, in reality, at the bank's transaction points, customers are still being offered the highest interest rate of up to 6.1%/year.

Also this morning, Kienlong Commercial Joint Stock Bank ( KienlongBank ) officially adjusted its deposit interest rates after nearly 8 months of not changing the interest rate schedule.

Accordingly, KienlongBank increased the interest rate for 1-4 month term deposits by 0.2% per year. The interest rate for 6-7 month term deposits also increased by 0.2% per year.

Surprisingly, KienlongBank reduced the interest rate for 8-9 month deposits by 0.1% per year, while keeping the interest rate for the remaining terms unchanged.

The above interest rate adjustment applies equally to deposits of individual and corporate customers.

According to the online savings interest rate table with interest received at the end of the term for individual customers just updated by KienlongBank, the savings interest rate for 1-5 month terms is listed at 3.9%/year; the latest 6-month term is 5.3%/year, while the 8-9 month term is only 5.1%/year.

The online banking interest rate applied for a 10-11 month term is 5.3%/year, while the highest rate is 5.5%/year for a 12 month term.

KienlongBank's 13-36 month term interest rate is listed at 5.45%/year.

KienlongBank's listed online deposit interest rate for institutional customers is 0.1-0.3%/year lower than the deposit interest rate for individual customers.

Specifically, the interest rate for 1-5 month term is 3.7%/year, 6 month term is 5.2%/year, 7 month term is 5.3%/year, 8 month term is 5%/year, 9 month term is 4.9%/year, 10-11 month term is 5%/year, 12 month term is 5.2%/year, 13-15 month term is 5.05%/year and 17-36 month term is 5.15%/year.

With KienlongBank and LPBank just increasing interest rates, there are 11 banks that have increased interest rates since the beginning of November, including Sacombank, VPBank, MB, HDBank , GPBank, BVBank, Techcombank, BaoViet Bank, LPBank, KienlongBank and PVCombank.
