I decided to shave my head for a while to calm my mind and pray for good luck for my mother’s health. And when my life from morning to night was only worrying about my mother’s health and taking care of the family, my appearance was no longer my concern.

When I shaved my hair on the top of Ngoa Van - Yen Tu, I had many strange emotions and feelings. I wanted to return to the roots of human beings. The elders often say: "Teeth and hair are the cornerstones of a person". When I have no hair, I feel like I am living very true to my inner self. I feel and evaluate myself to orient my next journey.

- How is your mother’s health? Looking at Facebook, I see that your wife takes good care of your mother while you are away. You must be very touched by your wife’s love for her?

My mother's health is very poor so the whole family is doing everything possible to maintain her health. I am lucky to have a good wife who is devoted to my mother and the family. She cares for my mother day and night, which gives me peace of mind to take care of the rest of the family.

- The fact that you recently canceled two shows in Europe because you were worried about your mother being seriously ill made many audiences share because they understand that you put your family first, but there are also some opinions that you are too weak and your health seems to have problems so you had to cancel the show. What do you say about this information?

Some people are very cruel, fabricating information that I am also seriously ill and have lost my voice. Actually, I do not care about those rumors because I am actively trying and making efforts for my own life, focusing on my best to have the spirit to take care of my family and work. I still try to ensure my job, family and take care of my mother with all the health and intelligence I have.

When my mother was sick, I sat in one place, thought more, wrote more and had more ideas. The audience in Germany also sympathized with my special situation at that time. When I first went there to perform, everyone hugged me, asked about my mother's health and encouraged me. I was very touched. People teased me: "You fly back and forth, but you still sing like you've swallowed a CD"?

- You once participated in the hit movie "Peach, Pho and Piano" and it seems like your cinematic destiny continues to knock on your door as you are about to participate in a new project. What can you share about this new role?

For me, cinema is still a dream that I have not touched. I will definitely touch that dream and make it come true. Recently, I participated in the movie "Don't be sad, my child" by director Hoang Nam. The opportunity to act in this movie was because I proactively asked for a role, not because it came to me. I hope that my dream of cinema will come true because I understand and know myself best.
