On May 4, the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation (VBD) of Hoa Lu district organized the first Voluntary Blood Donation Festival in 2024 with the message "Sharing blood - Giving life".
The festival had the participation of over 500 volunteers, of which 409 were eligible to donate blood.
As a result, the Provincial General Hospital received 430 units of blood. This precious blood source will be used promptly in emergency and treatment for patients in need of blood.
In recent years, the HMTN movement in Hoa Lu district has received attention from local Party committees, authorities, and unit leaders.
Thanks to that, there has been a positive change in the awareness of cadres, civil servants, public employees and the general public towards the act of donating blood to save lives.
