This is a purple mua flower variety imported from Australia with the scientific name Melastoma candidum D.Don. When mature, it has a stem taller than 3 meters and a canopy width of 3 to 5 meters. The flowers are dark purple, with thick petals and are larger than other purple mua flowers in Vietnam.
A representative of the Zeng Yong An Oolong Tea Company said that the oolong tea farm currently has more than 300 purple mua flower trees over 10 years old planted along the bank of the farm, which is dozens of hectares wide.

Dong Quan (HCMC) shared: "The road from Bao Loc City to the farm is a bit far, but my family's trip here was worth it. This is the first time I have experienced and recorded impressive moments with purple mua flowers in the middle of an oolong tea garden."
From the center of Bao Loc city, in the direction of Dam Bri waterfall, it takes about 20 minutes by car or motorbike to reach the tea farm with rows of purple mua flowers.
