Artist Dang Kim Long (born in 1955) is currently a senior member of the Royal Society of Arts of South Australia. Although not born into a family with an artistic tradition, his natural talent and passion for painting have led him to become a exemplary artist and teacher, bringing much influence to the creation of Vietnamese fine arts.

Combining knowledge, aesthetic thinking and painting talent, the works of artist Dang Kim Long, whether lacquer, oil or watercolor, always stand out for his comprehensive light capturing skills.
It is known that since 2000, painter Dang Kim Long has participated in many exhibitions and art activities passionately. Every year, he participates in many creative camps, exhibitions of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association, the Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Association and group exhibitions with friends.
From 2015 to 2019, he organized several exhibitions in Australia and achieved some results, creating a buzz such as: Award of Merit for two works Rainy Days and Wild & Free (2015), Award of Merit for the work The Festive Season (2016), Highly Commended for the work Adelaide Love (2017)...
In 2017, artist Dang Kim Long was honored to be recognized as a member of the Royal Society of Arts of South Australia. Also in 2017, he was honored to receive the official Diploma of Fellowship, being honored as an honorary specialist of the Royal Society of Arts of South Australia.

According to Dr. Ma Thanh Cao: "Like many other artists, painter Dang Kim Long has often wondered about his creative direction. Many nights, he sat in front of brushes, canvas, colors... and kept drawing and erasing countless times, so that today's collection has many different trends. He is also someone who experiments with many painting materials, from traditional lacquer to oil paint, watercolor. He tries to promote the strengths of each material to express the scenery of the places he has been to, the people he has met".
