Inspired by the increasingly devastated environment, “Flowers and Trash” recreates the dialogue between nature and humans through an emotional language: Art. With a delicate combination of music , dance, poetry and visual arts, the program creates an emotional journey divided into 4 chapters: “Love for the homeland” leads the audience back to pure nature; “Scattering and picking up” raises questions about consumer behavior and collection responsibility; “Flowers and Trash” shows the contrast between natural beauty and pollution; “Colorful environment” opens up the prospect of a better world if people act together.
The show in Binh Duong brought together 100 artists from Feelings Art House, along with the support of local students and volunteers. With an environmentally friendly stage design, using recycled materials provided by Vietstar Company, the show consistently demonstrated the spirit of “practice and words”.
Mr. Nguyen Trung Truc, representative of Trinh Cong Son Foundation and Feelings Art House group, shared: “We hope this message will be spread to many places in the world , because environmental pollution is not a problem of one country, but of the whole earth. On the occasion of World Environment Day (June 5), we are very impressed with the sustainable development and green vision of Binh Duong. We believe that, with that foundation, Binh Duong can completely become a model in environmental protection in Vietnam in the coming decades”.
Not just a performance, “Flowers and Trash” has been and will be a bridge connecting the community, spreading the good values of art and responsibility for the environment. From stages in Hue, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi to now Binh Duong, the program has contributed significantly to raising public awareness and encouraging concrete actions for a green future.
The name “Flowers and Trash” seems contradictory, but it is a profound metaphor for the world we live in. Between beauty and oblivion, between love and indifference, the program calls on everyone to reflect and choose. It is a call not only to “look back”, but also to act, to love and to create for a green, clean and sustainable planet.
