This event is held to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025), towards the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.
As the agency of the Hanoi Party Committee, the voice of the Party Committee, government and people of the Capital, Hanoi Moi Newspaper always makes important contributions to the overall achievements of the Capital, recognized by the Central Government and the City.
For nearly 68 years, since the publication of the first daily issue (October 24, 1957), the newspaper has always maintained its principles and purposes, closely followed reality, actively propagated the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws as well as those of the Party Committee and the Capital City's government. The works and activities of the Hanoi Moi newspaper have contributed to motivating and encouraging the entire people in the past struggles for independence and freedom and in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland today.
Photo exhibition "Hanoi Moi Newspaper and the Capital on the Development Path" includes 100 photos, divided into 2 main thematic clusters.
The first group includes photos of the covers of the Hanoi Moi Newspaper promoting the 17th Congresses of the Hanoi Party Committee; the first covers of the Thoi Moi and Thu Do newspapers, which later merged and were honored by Uncle Ho to be named Hanoi Moi Newspaper; covers of the Ha Tay Newspaper; some covers promoting major events of the Capital and the country...
The second cluster includes photos of professional activities, social work of Hanoi Moi Newspaper and economic , social, cultural activities... of the Capital on the path of innovation.
The photo exhibition was held on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, affirming the outstanding contributions of the Capital Party journalists in inheriting and promoting the glorious tradition of revolutionary journalism, accompanying the Capital and the country in the process of resistance, construction and development today.
At the same time, the exhibition also shows the strong changes of Hanoi Moi Newspaper to successfully complete the assigned political tasks, meeting the development requirements of the Capital and the whole country in the new era of the nation - worthy of being the Heroic Newspaper of the Heroic Capital.
The exhibition will take place from June 17 to June 22, 2025 at the headquarters of Hanoi Moi Newspaper (44 Le Thai To, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi).
