According to expert Matthieu GUYARD, the advantage of this technique is its ability to help increase the range of motion of the hip joint.
This is a very important factor for young patients who are in the group of subjects with high mobility needs, which can easily increase pressure on the hip area, leading to the risk of dislocation and post-operative injury.
This method is also applied to patients who have had a hip replacement. Usually, when replacing a hip, the patient has a higher risk of hip dislocation and post-operative complications than those who have had a first-time replacement.
However, thanks to hip replacement technique with dual mobile acetabulum, patients can maintain joint stability and limit risks.
Expert Matthieu GUYARD emphasized: "Performing hip replacement with a double mobile acetabulum requires high levels of surgeon skill.
