In the 2023-2024 national excellent student competition, Phu Yen province had 34/64 students winning prizes, including: 1 first prize, 3 second prizes, 16 third prizes, and 14 consolation prizes.
Among them, there are 29 students from Luong Van Chanh High School for the Gifted (Tuy Hoa City), 1 student from Duy Tan High School (Tuy Hoa City), 1 student from Le Hong Phong High School (Tay Hoa District); 1 student from Phan Boi Chau High School (Son Hoa District); 1 student from Tran Phu High School and 1 student from Vo Thi Sau High School (Tuy An District).
Leaders of the Department of Education and Training of Phu Yen province awarded prizes to excellent national students in the 2023-2024 school year.
From the results of national excellent students, Phu Yen province has 1 student who won first prize in information technology and was selected for the national team to participate in the regional and international Olympics in 2024.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Tran Khac Le, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Phu Yen province, expressed his joy that this is the first year the province has had the largest number of students winning prizes in the national excellent student competition.

On this occasion, the Department of Education and Training of Phu Yen province spent 85 million VND from socialized funds to reward the prize-winning students. Accordingly, the first prize was 8 million VND, the second prize was 5 million VND, the third prize was 3 million VND and the consolation prize was 1 million VND.
