Quang Tri students stay home from school on September 29 to avoid the storm

The Department of Education and Training of Quang Tri province has just issued a document announcing that all students and trainees will be off school on September 29 to ensure safety before storm Bualoi.

The document is applied to preschool, general education , and continuing education facilities; Quang Tri College of Education; information technology, foreign language, and life skills education centers; study abroad consulting, and additional teaching and learning facilities.

The Department also directed schools to urgently inspect facilities, review campuses, and proactively evacuate students and teachers in areas at risk of landslides, flash floods, and flash floods.

After the storm, units had to clean up and repair damage to welcome students back to school soon.

The education sector requires units to closely monitor storm and flood situations and promptly report incidents and damages for handling instructions.

By the morning of September 28, Quang Tri had experienced moderate rain, with heavy rain in some mountainous areas. Schools had already deployed to secure classrooms and clean up equipment to prepare for the storm. Military forces were also deployed to support the schools.
