Students return to school on August 22, 2025 at the earliest

The Provincial People's Committee has just issued Decision 01002/QD-UBND dated August 20, 2025, promulgating the 2025-2026 school year time plan framework for preschool education, general education and continuing education in Dak Lak province.

Accordingly, students in grades 1, 9, and 12 will return to school on August 22, 2025 at the earliest. Students in the remaining grades will return to school on August 29, 2025. The opening ceremony of the school year will be held on September 5, 2025.

Library staff of Y Jut Primary School (Buon Don Commune) arrange books in the school library before the new school year 2025-2026.

The school year starts on September 5, 2025, ending the first semester before January 18, 2026 (18 weeks of actual study); completing the program and ending the school year before May 31, 2026 (semester II has 17 weeks of actual study). Consider recognizing the completion of the primary school program and recognizing the graduation from secondary school before June 30, 2026. Complete enrollment for the first grade classes (school year 2026-2027) before July 31, 2026.

The high school graduation exam is scheduled to be held on June 11 and 12, 2026; national exams are according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Form teams to compete in the national excellent student exam in the 3rd week of September 2025. The excellent high school and continuing education exam will be held in early March 2026. The excellent middle school exam will be held in the 3rd week of March 2026.

Teachers' annual leave will be taken during the 2026 summer vacation or alternately throughout the year, in accordance with specific characteristics and the school year plan.

The Director of the Department of Education and Training is responsible for guiding and organizing the implementation of the 2025-2026 school year schedule in accordance with the actual situation; advising and proposing to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to decide on adjusting the school year plan, school break time and school year extension in special cases (due to the impact of epidemics or force majeure situations); deciding to let students take time off from school in case of extreme weather, natural disasters and arranging make-up classes to ensure the school year schedule.
