Specifically, the Academy considers 4 groups of subjects based on the results of the high school graduation exam: A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry), A01 (Math, Physics, English), C03 (Math, Literature, History) and D01 (Math, English, Literature).
The regulations for preliminary selection and direct recruitment according to the regulations of the Ministry of Public Security have been informed in the admission instructions.
The People's Police Academy enrolls students from Thua Thien Hue and beyond, with 3 methods:
Method 1: Direct admission according to current admission regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and regulations of the Ministry of Public Security.
Method 2: Direct admission combining international language certificates with high school academic results.
Method 3: Admission combines high school graduation exam results with assessment test results of the Ministry of Public Security.
For method 3, the admission score is the total score of 3 subjects in the admission combination from the high school graduation exam results to the People's Police Academy (accounting for 40%) and the exam score of the Ministry of Public Security (accounting for 60%) converted to a 30-point scale rounded to 2 decimal places plus the priority score according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, regulations of the Ministry of Public Security. The calculation formula is as follows:
DXT = (M1+M2+M3)*2/5+BTBCA*3/5+DUT
In which: ĐXT: admission score; M1, M2, M3: scores of 3 subjects in the subject group for admission to the People's Police Academy; BTBCA: Score of the Ministry of Public Security's assessment test; DUT: Priority score.
The People's Police Academy also noted that the candidate's priority points are determined by the sum of regional priority points, subject priority points and bonus points prescribed by the Ministry of Public Security, according to the formula: DUT = DT + KV + Dth.
In which: DUT is priority point; DT is priority point for subject; KV is priority point for region; Dth is bonus point.
In case the candidate achieves a total score of 3 subjects in the admission group to the People's Police Academy (accounting for 40%) and the exam score of the Ministry of Public Security (accounting for 60%) converted to a 30-point scale rounded to 2 decimal places from 22.5 points or more, the candidate's priority score is determined as follows:
SUMMARY = [(30 - total score achieved)/7.5] x (DT + KV + DTH)
(Total score achieved = (M1+M2+M3)*2/5+BTBCA*3/5).
Each candidate can participate in many admission methods at the People's Police Academy.
In 2023, the Ministry of Public Security will continue to organize an entrance exam to serve university admissions. This is the second year the Ministry has organized this exam. The exam will be held on July 2-3.
It is expected that the academies and universities under the Ministry of Public Security will be assigned 2,000 regular university level positions. The secondary level alone will be recruited 1,200 positions.
Enrollment quotas for public security schools are determined for each school, each region, each industry, each subject (male, female), and each enrollment method./.
