On May 15, the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) announced five methods of regular university admission in 2025.
Specifically, with the talent selection method, the academy is divided into 2 groups, including direct selection according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and selection based on the capacity profile of students participating in national and international excellent student competitions, and specialized school students.
The score for reviewing the capacity profile is on a scale of 100, in which the academic score accounts for 60% (maximum 60 points), the achievement score accounts for 40% (maximum 40 points).

With the method of considering the results of international competency assessment certificates, the academy considers candidates with a minimum SAT certificate of 1130/1600 or higher or an ACT of 25/36 or higher.
The method of considering the results of the competency assessment test or thinking assessment is this year, the first year the academy considers admission based on the results of the competency assessment test organized by Hanoi National University of Education.

With the admission method combining international English certificates, the academy considers candidates with IELTS certificates of IELTS 5.5 or higher, or TOEFL iBT 65 or higher, or TOEFL ITP 513 or higher, and with an average GPA of grades 10, 11, and 12 of 7.5 or higher, and good conduct or higher.
With the method of considering high school graduation exam scores, the Academy of Posts and Telecommunications Technology will announce the minimum admission score later.

In 2025, the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology plans to enroll more than 6,000 students, open an artificial intelligence major and a logistics and supply chain management program.
