The National Festival of Librarians to promote reading culture and introduce books in 2025 is a cultural activity organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, attracting nearly 1,000 delegates who are librarians from 33 delegations of libraries in provinces, cities, armed forces and universities nationwide.
Each participating delegation presented their entry in 30-35 minutes with 4 main parts: Introducing the team; introducing books; introducing new and effective models in developing reading culture and serving lifelong learning in the locality, unit and talent competition.
The People's Police Academy was honored to be selected by the Ministry of Public Security as the only unit representing the People's Public Security force to participate in the Festival.
The competition program of the People's Police Academy Library delegation includes the following sections: Introducing the team; introducing the model of "People's Police Academy Book and Action Club" with the goal of developing a culture of reading and lifelong learning; introducing the book "Absolute loyalty to the Fatherland, the Party, the State and the People" by General, Professor, Dr. To Lam, General Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the book "Tank Soldier's Notes - Journey to the Independence Palace" by Colonel Nguyen Khac Nguyen; talent competition through historical scenes.
At the closing ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded 6 excellent prizes to the teams from the People's Police Academy Library, Military Region 5 Library and Libraries of the provinces: Dak Lak, Quang Tri, Dong Thap, Dien Bien.
