Hoi An, a neighborhood of time-stained yellow walls, is the inspiration for French photographer Réhahn Croquevielle to bring photos of daily life here, a place he considers his second home.
From above, the yellow-walled houses mixed with brown tiled roofs and blue windows create a picture with many layers.
The deeper you go into each corner of the street, it seems like every wall is covered with a layer of golden yellow, mixed with moss patches in the old town, every day witnessing bicycles slowly going along the river, or rustic, simple conical hats carrying street vendors.
When the streets are flooded with the afternoon sunlight, reflecting that honey-like light onto the river, that moment makes the whole city magical and infinitely precious.
