To honor cultural identity, beliefs, religions and affirm Vietnam's commitment to ensuring human rights, the Office of the Government's Standing Agency for Human Rights in coordination with the People's Committee of Da Nang City organized a photo exhibition on Ethnicity - Beliefs and Heritage at An Hoi Sculpture Garden (Hoi An Ward).
The exhibition features about 100 photos about ethnicity and religion.

With two main parts : Religion - Belief and Vietnamese Ethnic Groups , the exhibition introduces about 100 unique photographic works by 40 authors capturing daily moments, festivals, cultural and religious activities of the Vietnamese ethnic community.
The exhibition takes place on the poetic Hoai River in Hoi An City (old), now Hoi An Ward ( Da Nang City).

According to the organizers, each work is a true slice of major religious ceremonies such as: Vesak, Dieu Tri Palace Festival, Chol Chnam Thmay festival, Mother Goddess worship... to folk rituals, traditional weddings, crafts, folk games of the Tay, Mong, Khmer, Red Dao, Xa Phang communities...
In his opening speech, Colonel Nguyen Hoa Chi, Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs - Ministry of Public Security , Deputy Chief of Office of the Government's Standing Agency for Human Rights, emphasized that the exhibition is a special cultural event to honor the national identity, religious beliefs and cultural heritage of the Vietnamese ethnic community.
Visitors to Hoi An have the opportunity to learn about religion and ethnic minorities of Vietnam.

The exhibition is a vivid demonstration of the humane and consistent policy of the Party and State in protecting human rights, especially freedom of belief and religion and the right to development of ethnic minorities.
During the 2023-2025 term, as a member of the United Nations Human Rights Council, Vietnam continues to affirm its position as an active, responsible and contributing country in the international community.

In particular, Vietnam always respects and protects the freedom of belief and religion of all citizens; focuses on promoting development for ethnic minorities, ensuring equality, integration and leaving no one behind," said Colonel Nguyen Hoa Chi.
