Hoi An is among the world's top cheap destinations

Based on its data and calculations, the Post Office estimates that each tourist coming to Hoi An will spend about 1.6 million VND on food and other basic items such as sunscreen, insect repellent... for the trip .

According to the Post Office, this cost in Hoi An is cheaper than any other famous destination in 2024. Some other famous destinations are also in the top low-cost destinations such as Cape Town (South Africa), Tokyo (Japan), Kuta - Bali (Indonesia), Penang (Malaysia), Phuket (Thailand)...

Previously, Hoi An was also ranked by the Post Office as one of the top famous cheap tourist destinations, but this is the first time Hoi An has topped this list.
