Quang Tri Ancient Citadel Soldiers Association in 1972 pays tribute to heroic martyrs

On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025) and the 53rd anniversary of the 81-day and night fighting event to protect the Ancient Citadel and Quang Tri town in 1972, on the afternoon of July 21, the Association of Soldiers of the Ancient Citadel of Quang Tri in 1972 held a flower offering ceremony, incense offering ceremony and rice offering ceremony to pay tribute to and commemorate the heroic martyrs.

Laying wreaths and offering incense at the central monument of the Quang Tri Ancient Citadel National Special Relic, generals, officials, and members of the Quang Tri Ancient Citadel Soldiers Association in 1972 from provinces and cities across the country took a moment to commemorate and express deep gratitude for the heroic fighting and noble sacrifice of the heroic martyrs who did not spare their blood and bones for the independence and peace of the country.

This is an opportunity for the Quang Tri Ancient Citadel Soldiers Association in 1972 and its members to return to their comrades and teammates, to light warm incense sticks and pray for the souls of the heroic martyrs to rest in eternal peace.
