Vietnam International Tourism Fair VITM Hanoi 2025 Opportunity to promote Gia Lai tourism

“Developing Green Destinations, Elevating Vietnam Tourism ” is the theme of the Vietnam International Tourism Fair VITM Hanoi 2025 taking place from April 10, 2025 to April 13, 2025 at the ICE Hanoi International Exhibition Center, Friendship Cultural Palace, 91 Tran Hung Dao, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi with the participation of 450 booths. On the morning of April 10, 2025, the opening ceremony of the VITM Hanoi Fair 2025 took place at the outdoor stage area.

Participating in this event, the joint booth of 3 provinces Dak Lak-Gia Lai- Phu Yen with the theme "The Central Highlands in harmony with the ocean" together promotes the tourism route connecting the forest and the sea, thereby promoting the unique strengths of each locality. This is an opportunity to connect and promote tourism in Gia Lai province to a large number of domestic and foreign tourists, and at the same time, an opportunity for tourism service businesses in the province to exchange and find partners.

On this occasion, local specialties were also introduced to visitors for experience. Representatives of Gia Lai province, Nam Phu Tea Establishment (Ia Ve commune, Chu Prong district) specializing in herbal teas (lemongrass tea, soursop, winter melon...) and LiLa Herbal Medicine Company Limited (Tan Phong village, Tan An commune, Dak Po district) promoted tea products from medicinal herbs, essential oils, natural beauty products... at this event.

Within the framework of the VITM Hanoi 2025 fair, the Vietnam Tourism Association held the "Vietnam Travel Awards" to honor organizations, tourism businesses and individuals who have made many positive contributions to the development of the tourism industry in 2024. Gia Lai province has 4 honored units including: Pleiku Hotel won the Typical 3-star Hotel Award in 2024; Mr. Tran Hoang Son won the Tourism Association Leadership Award with outstanding achievements in 2024; Ms. Truong Thi Phuong Nga won the Outstanding and Outstanding Travel Business Director Award in 2024; Mr. Vuong Vu - Head Chef of Pleiku Palace won the Outstanding and Outstanding Chef Award in 2024.

VITM Hanoi 2025 has a special meaning as 2025 is the year of green transformation, digital transformation in the tourism industry, and Vietnam tourism focuses on promoting international tourism, building and positioning the brand in the international arena. The fair aims to spread the goal of developing Vietnam tourism towards green and sustainable growth. In particular, it will introduce attractive green tourism products of Vietnam.

At the fair, visitors will have many interesting experiences when accessing tourism products, stimulus packages, new technologies and tourism trends; tourism events of localities, businesses, domestic and international destinations; air tickets; hotel rooms; OCOP products; art performances... Tourism promotion activities at the Fair will take place with many meetings between businesses and businesses (B2B); businesses and consumers (B2C).
