Provincial Red Cross Society opens a location to organize humanitarian activities

The location for humanitarian activities is located in Thanh Tuyen Ward, Phu Ly City. This is the former Vocational Training Center of the Provincial Red Cross Society, with an area of ​​1 hectare (including a vocational training workshop with an area of ​​160m2 and a 2-storey building with an area of ​​320m2). In previous years, the center opened training classes and vocational training for many people with disabilities in the province. From there, it helped people with disabilities have more opportunities to increase their income and improve their lives. Due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic and economic recession, the current physical facilities of the Provincial Red Cross Society's facility 2 have been degraded, many items are broken and there is no service equipment. 68 Group Joint Stock Company has supported all the costs of repairing, renovating, and purchasing some necessary equipment to coordinate with the Provincial Red Cross Association to organize practical and effective humanitarian support and activity models, including: Model of voluntary blood donation in industrial parks, repairing and rebuilding existing houses to serve as a place for free consultation, examination, and medicine distribution for the elderly and people in difficult circumstances every Sunday; repairing and building charity kitchens, providing free meals to poor workers every week; model of vocational training, supporting employment for people with disabilities and disadvantaged people; supporting accommodation for poor workers and people with disabilities who have difficulty traveling to work in industrial parks...

Immediately after the opening ceremony, the Provincial Red Cross Association coordinated with the 68 Group Joint Stock Company and the Provincial General Hospital to organize medical examinations and provide free medicine to 100 people in difficult circumstances in Thanh Liem District and Phu Ly City. This was also the opening program for a series of activities on the occasion of the opening of the humanitarian activities site.

The establishment of a humanitarian activity site not only helps connect kind hearts but also effectively implements programs to support the poor, the disadvantaged, and those facing difficulties in life.
