Thai Nguyen Provincial Women's Union gives gifts to orphans on the occasion of Mid-Autumn Festival and new school year

Many units and philanthropists have accompanied the Thai Nguyen Provincial Women's Union to organize a gift-giving program for orphans in difficult circumstances.

With the support of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, the Thai Nguyen Provincial Women's Union and representatives of organizations, businesses and sponsors, 51 gifts were presented to 51 orphans in especially difficult circumstances sponsored by the Provincial Women's Union.

Each gift includes: 1 million VND in cash and 1 gift bag; 108 gifts were given to 108 orphans in 9 districts and cities, each gift includes 300,000 VND in cash and 10kg of rice. Also in the program, Dung Tan Company Limited also gave gifts to 11 orphans sponsored by the Company in 8 districts and cities, each gift worth 2 million VND. All of the above gifts were received by the Women's Union of districts and cities and given to orphans and children in difficult circumstances in the area.

Currently, Thai Nguyen province has 2,772 orphans, and the Thai Nguyen Women's Union at all levels has connected and sponsored 353 children. The number of children from poor, near-poor, and disadvantaged households in need of support is 624, of which 24 are orphans of both parents, and 600 are orphans of one parent. Therefore, in the coming time, the Women's Union at all levels in the province will continue to mobilize and connect businesses, philanthropists, organizations, and individuals to support and sponsor the children, encourage and help them have more determination in their journey to grow up and mature.
