Ba Ngoi Ward Women's Union mobilizes support for people affected by floods

Since November 17, the Women's Union of Ba Ngoi Ward has mobilized donors to support essential necessities and free meals to support people affected by floods in the ward.

Accordingly, the association mobilized and presented 100 blankets, 10 electric kettles, 500 gifts (milk, bottled water, instant noodles), 500 free meals and nearly 20 bags of old clothes to households in residential groups and flood shelters at Nguyen Du Secondary School (Ba Ngoi Ward). The total value of the gifts was more than 171 million VND, supported by the association's generous donors.

In addition, 160 officers and women members of the ward actively prepared, packaged gifts, cooked meals, etc. to serve people in shelters and local rescue forces; and supported schools in cleaning up after the flood receded. These activities promptly helped people affected by natural disasters overcome difficulties, and at the same time, demonstrated the organization's concern for people's lives.
