The meeting focused on reviewing, discussing, and giving opinions on: the General Urban Planning Project for Xuan Van and Trung Mon in Yen Son district. Regarding this matter, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee basically agreed with the planning project. Regarding the general planning of the new Xuan Van urban area, Provincial Party Secretary Ha Thi Nga emphasized that the planning aims to transform the new Xuan Van urban area into a typical and distinctive urban center, promoting high-quality commerce, commercial services, and agriculture and forestry, creating an attractive environment, leveraging advantages in the district, and providing impetus for the development of the locality as well as neighboring areas of the city. At the same time, the new urban area will also open up space along both banks of the Gam River.

Comrade Ha Thi Nga, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, chaired the meeting.

Regarding the general planning project for the Trung Mon new urban area, Provincial Party Secretary Ha Thi Nga requested the consulting unit to coordinate with Yen Son district to finalize the project. Along with its nature as a model educational urban area, the Trung Mon new urban area must be arranged and expanded to connect regional transportation systems in order to leverage its advantages and build an urban area with its own unique characteristics, serving as a satellite city for the provincial center in the future.

The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee delivered a speech during the discussion.

The delegates also gave opinions on the following contents: the agenda of the 10th session of the 19th Provincial People's Council; the draft of the book "History of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee, 2006-2020 "; the work of commendation, propaganda, and education on "Studying and following the thoughts, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh"; the plan of the Provincial Party Standing Committee to summarize 10 years of implementing Directive No. 05 dated May 15, 2016 of the Politburo on promoting the study and emulation of the thoughts, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh; the draft report of the Provincial Party Standing Committee summarizing Resolution No. 73 dated December 10, 2018 of the 16th Provincial Party Standing Committee on mobilizing children to attend kindergarten in the province ...

Ms. Pham Thi Minh Xuan, Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council, delivered a speech during the discussion.

Comrade Nong Thi Bich Hue, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, and Head of the Culture and Social Affairs Committee of the Provincial People's Council, delivered a speech during the discussion.

The conference also provided feedback on the draft Plan of the Provincial Party Standing Committee for implementing Directive No. 42 dated January 16, 2025, of the Politburo on strengthening the Party's leadership over the work of educating on diligence, thrift, integrity, impartiality, and selflessness; the draft report on leadership in implementing tasks related to economic and social development, ensuring national defense and security, building the Party and the political system in the first quarter; directions and tasks for the second quarter of 2025; the draft report of the Provincial Party Standing Committee summarizing the five-year implementation of Directive No. 42 dated March 24, 2020, of the Central Party Secretariat on strengthening the Party's leadership over the work of preventing, responding to, and mitigating the consequences of natural disasters; and several other important issues.
