2025 Science and Technology Conference: A mark on medical quality

(Chinhphu.vn) - Saigon Medical Group (MSG) has just organized the 2025 Science and Technology Conference, an annual event, gathering more than 400 experts, doctors, nurses and leading medical staff.

In-depth forum, connecting academia and practice

With the theme "Modern technology, JCI quality," the conference emphasized the value of "dedicated care" and patient-centeredness, which is also the guiding principle for the entire hospital system of the group.

Dr. Ha Anh Duc - Director of the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management, Ministry of Health shared at the conference: "According to Resolution 72-NQ/TW of the Politburo on a number of breakthrough solutions to strengthen the protection, care and improvement of people's health, the Ministry of Health continues to improve the quality of medical examination and treatment. We believe that in the future, more hospitals will achieve JCI certification, helping people access better health care services."

The conference is an in-depth forum where speakers share and update medical knowledge, contributing to the overall development of the industry. The event was also honored to welcome Dr. Bui Nguyen Thanh Long, Deputy Head of Medical Affairs, Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health, and representatives from JCI International and the World Association of Eye Hospitals (WAEH).

Update expertise and apply it to practice

The conference includes 3 main reporting sessions: Ophthalmology, General Medicine - Pharmacy - Laboratory, and Nursing, with more than 50 reports updating advanced surgical techniques, from AI in diagnosis, surgical innovation, to patient safety management.

Affirming commitment to quality and patient safety

One of the highlights of the conference was that Cao Thang Eye Hospital was awarded the JCI certification for the 6th time and was recognized as a Southeast Asian record for "The first eye medical facility in Vietnam to achieve JCI quality certification and maintain it continuously for the most years". The conference also brought together 6 prestigious medical units in Vietnam that have achieved JCI certification.
