From September 15 to 17, 2025, in Nanning City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China, the National Health Commission, the National Administration for Disease Control and Prevention and the Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China co-hosted the "Health Silk Road" Construction Conference and the fifth China-ASEAN Health Cooperation Forum.

The delegation of Lang Son Provincial Department of Health led by Mr. Nguyen The Toan, Director of the Department attended the Conference. Building the "Health Silk Road" and the 5th China-ASEAN Health Cooperation Forum, including attending the opening session of the Plenary Conference with the theme "Smart Digital Health - Shared Development" and thematic forums of the Conference on Building the "Health Silk Road" and the China-ASEAN Health Cooperation Forum. Attending this Conference is an opportunity for the Department of Health of Lang Son province to approach, learn, share and exchange advanced knowledge and experience in cooperation and exchange forums in the health sector between China and ASEAN countries.

This year's Forum with the theme "Smart Digital Health - Sharing Development" includes the Opening Session, the Plenary Conference and 07 thematic forums including: Cooperation and Exchange in Maternal and Child Health; Development of the Health Industry; Cooperation in Disease Prevention; Cooperation in Food Safety and Nutrition; Cooperation in Emergency Medical Response; Cooperation in Hospital Management; Cooperation and International Exchange in Dentistry.

The Conference on Building the “ Health Silk Road” and the ASEAN-China Health Cooperation Forum aim to further deepen cooperation and exchanges in the health sector between China and ASEAN countries, jointly build the “Health Silk Road”, contribute to building a health and human health community , and at the same time contribute to deepening the implementation of the important common perceptions reached between the high-ranking leaders of the two Parties and the two States of Vietnam and China in recent times and the “Vietnam-China Joint Statement on Continuing to Deepen and Enhance the Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership, Building a Community of Shared Futures of Vietnam-China of Strategic Significance”. contributing to the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-China diplomatic relations and the "Vietnam-China Humanitarian Exchange Year".

The conference also aims to continue promoting the effective implementation of the "Action Plan on Health Cooperation between the Health Departments of Lang Son, Quang Ninh, Ha Giang (now Tuyen Quang), Cao Bang (Vietnam) and the Health Committee of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (China) for the period 2024 - 2026"; especially promoting cooperation between the Health Departments of Lang Son, Quang Ninh, Tuyen Quang, Cao Bang (Vietnam) and the Health Committee of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (China) in the following years on the basis of implementing the signed Memorandums of Understanding. /.
