Dong Dang - Lang Son Border Gate Economic Zone Management Board held talks with Pingxiang Town, Guangxi, China

On October 30, 2025, at the area of landmarks 1090-1091, Tan Thanh (Vietnam) - Po Chai (China) customs clearance, the delegation of the Dong Dang - Lang Son Border Gate Economic Zone Management Board held talks with the delegation of the People's Government of Bang Tuong town, Guangxi, China to discuss and promote cooperation in building a smart border gate model.

Attending the talks, on the side of the delegation of the Dong Dang - Lang Son Border Gate Economic Zone Management Board, there was Mr. Nguyen Quoc Toan - Head of the Board as Head of the delegation, along with representatives of specialized departments, the Border Gate Management Center under the Management Board; also attending were representatives of the Departments: Foreign Affairs, Industry and Trade, Construction, Provincial Border Guard Command, Customs Branch VI; and business representatives including Bao Nguyen Trading Transport Joint Stock Company.

The Chinese side was led by Mr. Vu Hieu Huy, Secretary of the Bang Tuong City Party Committee, along with representatives of specialized agencies and businesses in Bang Tuong City.

At the meeting, the two sides discussed and agreed on the contents of the pilot implementation of AGV vehicles for night customs clearance on the dedicated road for transporting goods in the area of landmark 1088/2-1089, the pilot period is expected to last 01 month, with the pilot time frame: From 18:30 - 20:00 every day. The cooperation of the two sides in this pilot implementation will create an important practical basis for the official operation of the smart border gate in the future and is also expected to reduce costs for businesses and increase the efficiency of customs clearance of goods.
