
On October 17, 2025, at the 3rd China - RCEP Industrial Cooperation Conference held in Yunfu City, Guangdong Province, China, the signing ceremony of the "Memorandum of Understanding between the Department of Foreign Affairs of Lang Son Province, Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Foreign Affairs Bureau of Yunfu City, Guangdong Province, People's Republic of China on developing friendly exchange and cooperation relations" took place.
According to the Memorandum of Understanding, the Department of Foreign Affairs of Lang Son province and the Department of Foreign Affairs of Van Phu city agreed to jointly develop long-term friendly and cooperative relations, focusing on promoting cooperation and exchanges in the fields of economics - trade, science - technology, education, culture, agriculture, tourism, health and other fields as mutually agreed upon by the two sides.
The Memorandum of Understanding takes effect from the date of signing (October 17, 2025), is implemented for 05 years and can be extended or amended by written agreement between the two Parties.
Lang Son province and Van Phu city are two localities with similar geographical conditions and complementary to each other . The two sides have great potential for cooperation in areas such as: Technology application transfer, cooperation in transportation, trade transactions, cross-border logistics, e-commerce, logistics, processing, deep processing of construction stone materials, decorative stones - stainless steel household appliances - medicinal herbs - agricultural products, forming a modern two-way supply chain, promoting the connection of Vietnam - China - ASEAN and the Greater Bay Area: Guangdong - Hong Kong - Macau , and other areas such as: science - technology, education, culture, agriculture , tourism, health...
